Hornung Park Lodge - an oasis of peace and relaxation.

Hornung Park Lodge was designed with YOU in mind... if all you want to do is nothing; when you are stressed out and you just want to relax in a friendly, peaceful atmosphere; when you are tired of the cold, wet winter and you want to get away from it all and lie in the sun.

Hornung Park Lodge was so named because it is situated next to Hornung Park, one of the many green parks scattered around the city and its suburbs. The Lodge itself actually overlooks the Hornung Park Sports Club golf course. Guest accommodation at the Lodge comprises five African-style thatched bungalows set amid attractive gardens. There is a central swimming pool and lounge area, an all-weather tennis court and a private thatched restaurant and bar for the exclusive use of guests.



The holiday bungalows are designed for two people and include a comfortably furnished living room with Swedish fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and built in wall safe, and a shady patio. Hair dryers are built in and there are electrical sockets and adaptors for your appliances. Each bungalow has its own television and video, and tapes in German or English can be borrowed from the Lodge’s video library. In July and August the weather is sunny but evenings are cold, and it is pleasant to sit by a crackling log fire and watch a good movie.
